Madison Brown: The Imperious Collection

Madison Brown is a fashion designer and student at Appalachian State University. Her brand, Qweenzonly, and her Imperious collection, represents power, confidence, and uplifting yourself and other women.

Q: What does Imperious mean to you?

A: Imperious means assuming power or authority without justification which to me means doing whatever you want, making power moves, and being confident within yourself.

Q: What inspired the Imperious Collection?

A: My past experiences have made me wanna get out there and do what I wanna do and now worry about what anybody else wants to do.

Q: When did you know you wanted to start the Imperious Collection? ​

A: Right around November I just started thinking, if Im gonna get my name out there I need to make a collection.

Q: Why did you name your brand Qweenzonly?​

A: To represent my brand you have to be uplifting of everyone and not just yourself. You have to be comfortable in your own skin. Thats what it's all about, being a queen and being confident."
